Post cloud infrastructure automation and how it will impact our practices, tools.

Abstract:

Faster, reliable and self serving provisioning is becoming a norm in cloud based deployments.

But heterogeneous APIs and inter dependencies of network services makes the whole process easy to automate, yet failure prone. Hence testing of these automation suites became even more important.

This talk is highlight some of the mainstream development practices applied to Operations and the tools and techniques that makes them feasible in operations domain.

I’ll also walk through some of the emerging technologies, which holds a promise to radically simplify these processes and how we can iteratively adopt them.
